The Art Of Forgiveness – Part 2

I trust that you have experimented somewhat with Ho’oponopono after reading part 1 of this blog and hope that you have gained some peace from its healing power.?

I personally find it to be such a great tool to fall back on when things occur or past issues arise, that I seem to be at a loss with how to deal with. Reciting the mantra from my heart space really does make all the difference and I begin to feel the energy soften between myself and the other person/circumstance. A sense of peace follows. Sometimes it takes 3 times and sometimes 100 times – it all depends.??? Ultimately, for me, it has truly been life-changing.?

I thought that I would share with you something else that helped me immensely in the forgiveness arena. This applies more specifically to those people that have really crushed and broken your heart and have left most excruciating scars. In one of Dolores Cannon’s videos, she observes that the people that hurt us most tragically in this life are actually the souls that have the greatest love for us, in spiritual truth, as they have volunteered to be the ones to facilitate our spiritual growth to the highest degree in this lifetime. WOW. Just think about that! Her theory gave me A LOT of peace and was pivotal in my healing and forgiveness endeavours.?

As we fully encompass the art of forgiveness, we are faced with the fact that forgiving others is only half of the work that we need to do. It is only a part of the formula. For what about forgiving ourselves?

Unconsciously, we hold on to grudges towards ourselves, as much as we do towards others, for countless things that we think we have or have not done. As we step into accepting and loving ourselves unconditionally, we can no longer surpass the Art Of Forgiving ourselves.?

We may even need to do this on a daily basis – even for the little things, to allow us to live in peace. I often find myself needing to forgive myself numerous times in one day alone, as doing so eliminates the guilt from festering within and in turns stops self-resentment from being allowed accumulate.  Instead, it provides a sense of peace and a stream of love to enter.? Ho’oponopono is a great tool for this.?

“We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love. There is some good in the worst of us and some evil in the best of us. When we discover this, we are less prone to hate our enemies.” ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Importance of forgiving to detoxify our hearts, our minds and our life is essential if we are to be at peace. Delve deep and forgive anything that you are holding against yourself, any regrets, or guilt or shame that you are holding onto – FORGIVE YOURSELF.?❤?

Ultimately we are all human and we are all doing our best, even if it doesn’t seem to be that way, that is the truth! If we could have done better we would have and the same goes for everyone else. Realising this releases a multitude of the unrealistic expectations that we tend to hold ourselves and others up to.

We are not perfect and never will be as long as we are in human form, for that in itself would defeat the purpose of our current existence.

Forgiveness is an important part of our evolution as human and spiritual beings and allows us to rise above our past pain and to live more fully in the present moment of our lives. It means accepting ourselves and others and having compassion for who and where we are in our lives. As we forgive ourselves, we release ourselves from the bondage of past pain and it is the ultimate key to releasing poisonous resentment. It is one of the greatest gifts that we can give ourselves. ?

If we are to live happy and fulfilling lives we need to be light. Emotional baggage is exceptionally heavy and often disallows us from partaking in the joys that everyday life actually has to offer us! Forgiveness is the golden key to a pure, joyful and blissful present and future that is our birthright!?

“The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.” ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Are you ready to partake fully in the Art Of Forgiveness and begin to live to your maximum capacity of the beautiful human spirit that you are? It will be life changing if you do! You will wonder why you have held on so long… And don’t forget yourself! Charity begins at home!?

Sending you eternal peace, light and love! You are your own magic wand.?

Love coming at you from the depth of my heart to yours!
